”I photographed Andy Warhol by chance. I happened to be in an art gallery and surprisingly, Andy Warhol showed up.
I managed to get him into an inner room. There was no studio, and there was no daylight, so it was very difficult to balance the picture.
What struck me was that he was so incredibly shy and quiet. Andy Warhol is often associated with that cool, big white hair, makeup and the whole outfit.
But I believe got that somewhat insecure, yet sensual in his expression.”
